South Leith Parish Church and Church HallsOur Church building is in the Kirkgate, in the heart of Leith, just through the Kirkgate shopping centre at the foot of Leith Walk. (Leith is the historic port for Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland).

Our Church Halls (bottom right of the picture) are located a short distance away at 6 Henderson Street. Both of our premises have disabled access facilities.

In our worship we provide for all ages, with members closely involved on a regular basis. At 11.00am we blend traditional and contemporary elements of music, drama and preaching; evening services at 6.30pm are flexible in style and there are lively interactive services at Harvest, Christmas, Pentecost and Easter.

Our halls are 'teeming' with activity each week, both through our own organisations and the Leith community.

Annual holidays are normally organised, in 2000 we were in Perthshire for a weekend in October and in September 2001 we returned to Iona. We are planning many other exciting trips for 2002 and beyond.

Our Congregation is going through an exciting stage and is open to new ideas and to people with a wide range of skills and enthusiasm.

Buses from the city centre to Leith include 7, 10, 12, 14, 16, 22, 25 and 49. The church is then a short walk from the bottom of Leith Walk through the Newkirkgate Shopping Centre. There is a public car park just off Henderson Street.
