The Real Hero

Real Hero

HERO – Sometimes mythic figures, sometimes ordinary people who prevail in extreme circumstances, heroes dramatise a sense of morality, courage and purpose often lacking in our everyday world. Heroes do what is good, just and right; and even though they may be ambiguous or flawed characters, they often sacrifice themselves to show humanity at its best and most humane.

Who is your favourite hero? This year in our Holy Week services we are going to look at heroes from the present and the past, biblical and political, old and young. Our quest will be to seek inspiration from them to help us find the hero inside ourselves. We hope you will come along and join us.
