South Leith Church Halls

Our Church Halls provide a venue for our church family and the community of Leith for those activities which benefit from a different kind of space. The Halls (bottom right of the picture) are located a short distance away from our church building at 6 Henderson Street. Our buildings are on one level, we have disabled access facilities and baby changing facilities. Parking is available but is restricted to 1½ hours due to the demands of local retail outlets.

The Halls are where many of our groups meet such as the BB’s, guides, and the Women’s Group (for more information about our groups see ORGANISATIONS page on this site). We have informal monthly worship services in our halls (2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm).

We also host a community café there (10.00am-2.00pm Monday to Friday) where people of all ages gather for home baking, lunch, a cuppa and a good chat (see Perc U Up Café).

To help finance our wider work, and in order to make our excellent facilities available to the community of Leith, we rent out space to outside bookings ( For further information follow the link to the Halls website)

Transport to our buildings (Map)

Buses from the city centre to Leith include 7, 10, 12, 14, 16, 22, 25 and 49. The church is then a short walk from the bottom of Leith Walk through the Newkirkgate Shopping Centre. There is a public car park just off Henderson Street
