After a huge amount of work through the autumn by Ali Rutherford and David Fell (Joyce Armstrong's nephew) two large crates of computer equipment – 11 flat screens, four sewing machines a printer and laptop,
arrived at our partner school Chipembi Girls, in Zambia.

Some of the computer equipment was for the local primary school, and the photo from Albert Chituka shows this important handover of kit. Albert has been selected as the new headteacher at Chipembi Girls and will begin at the end of January, when Dorothy resigns.

The Projects@Chipembi charity have sent Dorothy the gift of a wrap and we have passed on the very best
wishes of all at SLPC to both Dorothy and Albert. They have been wonderful servants of the school community and great friends of South Leith. We wish them well in they new roles, Albert became a Dad again on
2 January adding a fourth son to his family with Given, his lovely wife.
